During the Diocesan celebration of the 2023 Diocesan Pastoral Theme of Care and Protection of Mother Earth on Saturday, 14th October 2023, at Spaita Centre in Mansa Bishop Patrick Chisanga said selfish individuals have been looting minerals and other natural resources leaving the province in poverty. He has since called on relevant authorities to ensure the natural resources of Luapula are safeguarded and culprits of such destruction are dealt with accordingly.
