On Sunday 6th February 2022 Bishop Patrick Chisanga launched the week of the Sick for Mansa Diocese which culminated in the celebration of the World Day of the Sick on 11th February 2022, memorial of our Lady of Lourdes.
During the week, the Parish team of Cathedral Parish took time to visit the sick in Small Christian Communities and priests administered the sacraments of the anointing of the sick and the Eucharist during the visit.
On the final day the Cathedral Parish team visited the sick at Mansa General Hospital where they presented some items to those who take care of the sick in hospital (Ku Chitenge). The items were donated by the Christians of Cathedral Parish.
