YOUR VOCATION IS BASED ON SERVING THE LORD YOUR GOD – Bishop Emeritus Aaron Andrew Chisha
During the solemn mass of celebrating 25 years in the vineyard of the Lord, Rt. Rev. Aaron A. Chisha, Bishop Emeritus of Mansa Diocese, who was the main celebrant, told the Jubileans: Sr. Imelda Mwandwe, Sr. Judith Nkolonga and Sr. Petronella Bweupe that rewards from God are invisible but can be seen in them (the three Sisters) transforming into the image of Christ by being compassionate, tender, meek, and humble. “Since you chose to live in a community, learn to forgive one another, promote unit, Love, Peace and good understanding. Remember to be thankful to God for what he has done for you in all circumstances”, preached Bishop Chisha to the three Sisters. He further reminded them that they work for the Lord that He may be praised and known. “Be happy and bring joy and peace; there is more happiness in giving than in receiving; pray for people in need: drunkards, kleptomaniacs, whoremongers, sadists, and also pray for our country, Zambia, for peace and tranquillity. You need prayer to gain impetus for your vocation.” The celebration ended with a reception at Kalebalika Spaita Pastoral Centre.
